Bennett, Women's Lax Top List of 2007 NCAA Leaders

UNION, N.J. - Freshman attack Joeline Bennett (Willingboro, N.J.) and the Kean University women's lacrosse team both led NCAA Division III in draw controls for the 2007 season.

Bennett broke the single-season record in draw controls, as she had 87 in 14 games, averaging 6.21 per game.

As a team the Cougars picked up 227 draw controls for an average of 16.21 per game. 

For the season, Kean finished 6-8 overall and 2-4 in the Skyline Conference.
