Romeo Earns Skyline Rookie Honors

LAWRENCEVILLE, N.J. (3/18/08) - Freshman attack Rosalia Romeo (Ridgewood, N.J.) earned Skyline Conference Women's Lacrosse Rookie of the Week honors after recording 20 assists in a 2-1 week for the Kean University women's lacrosse team. 

In the 23-12 victory over WestConn, Romeo had nine goals and three assists for 12 points, tied for fourth most goals and second most points in single game history.

Romeo followed that up with a team-high six goals and two assists for eight points in a 20-11 win over Chestnut Hill College.

The Cougars return home on Wednesday, March 19, when they host Lasell College at 1 p.m.
