South Named Player of the Week Times Two

Union, N.J. (3/16/09) - Sophomore Amanda South (Fairless, Pa.) has been tabbed both the New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) and Skyline Conference Player of the Week following her performance last week.

South earns both awards after registering eight goals and one assist for nine total points in the Cougars' first two contests of the year. She opened her sophomore season by tallying two goals and one assist while collecting three ground balls in a 13-6 non-conference road loss at Western Connecticut. She wrapped up the week by notching six goals and seven ground balls, while securing three draw controls in Kean's 19-13 non-conference road defeat at Gwynedd-Mercy.
