Women's Lacrosse Breezes By Gordon, 16-7

Punta Gorda, Fla. (3/15/18) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team improved to 4-0 with a 16-7 win over Gordon College on Thursday morning in the Spring Fling.

Senior Emily Stasuk led all players with three goals and two assists in the win.

The Cougars jumped out to an early 7-0 lead in the first 10 minutes of action as Taylor Nyberg and Stasuk each netted two goals in the span.

Kean then paced the remained of the game as 22 players saw game action.

Keepers Nikki Apostolopoulos and Josie Pagano split time in the net with three and one saves respectively.

Offensively Lex Meyer and Sarah Powers each had two goals.

Kean returns to action on Saturday when they host Elizabethtown College at 1 p.m.
