Women's Lacrosse Sails Past Elizabethtown

Union, N.J. (3/17/18) – Senior Brittany Ballack recorded a career-high six goals helping the Kean University women's lacrosse team to an 18-6 win over Elizabethtown College on Saturday afternoon.

Ballack tallied all six goals in the first half of action as the Cougars (5-0) cruised to a 12-3 first-half advantage.

After exchanging goals to start the matchup, Kean went on three separate runs of three, four and four goals, respectively, to set the offensive pace.  In the first 30 minutes, six different Cougars found the back of the net.

Three minutes into the second half Kean pushed their lead out to double-digits and cruised from there.

Senior Nikki Apostolopoulos tallied 15 saves with her fifth win of the season.  In total 11 different Cougars scored by game's end.

For the Blue Jays (4-3), Madelyn Baker and Katie Thompson each had two goals in the loss.

Kean returns to action on Wednesday when they host Drew University.
