Apostolopoulos, Ballack, Graham Earn IWLCA All-Region Honors

Grand Lake, Colo. (5/21/18) – Seniors Nikki Apostolopoulos and Brittany Ballack along with junior Morgan Graham were recently selected to the International Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association All-Region teams.

Apostolopoulos garnered first-team Boardwalk All-Region honors while Ballack and Graham were tabbed to the second-team.

The IWLCA honored 256 student-athletes in Division III with a selection to one of the All-Region teams for 2018. These student-athletes are now eligible to be named to the IWLCA All-American team. The IWLCA will celebrate the 2018 All-Americans during Divisional All-American Announcement Shows, which will be launched online in mid-June.

Apostolopoulos collected 182 saves this season on her way to breaking the career program record in the same category.  She started all 18 games and played just under 1,000 minutes this spring while forcing 18 turnovers. Apostolopoulos earns all-region honors for the second time in her career.  She was recognized as an NJAC All-Star all four years of her career, finishing with a first-team nod this season.

Ballack led the Cougars with 73 draw controls.  She added 36 goals, eight assists and forced 16 turnovers. 

Graham led the way with 50 goals on the season while adding 18 assists and 22 groundballs.
