Anzivino Named Female Athlete of the Month
Senior forward Heather Anzivino has been the offensive catalyst
for the Cougars for the past three years; however, thus far in 2006
she has raised her game to a new level. In just eight games in the
month she has already set career season highs in goals and points
with 16 and 35 respectively.
Last week this Belford, N.J. native recorded a career-high 10-point
effort for the Cougars in a 9-0 win over New Jersey City
University. During the game she tied a school record with four
consecutive goals and also added two assists. She followed that
performance up with a hat-trick against Ramapo College. For her
efforts in those two games she was honored by being named NJAC
Player of the Week.
She is quickly jumping up the career scoring lists. Currently she
is third all-time with 51 career goals, third in career points with
123 and tied for fifth with 21 assists.
