Anzivino Earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Year
Honor
Pitman, N.J. (11/2/06) - After leading the New Jersey Athletic
Conference in both goals and scoring this season, Kean University
senior forward Heather Anzivino (Belford, N.J.) was tabbed the NJAC
Offensive Player of the Year, as selected by the NJAC coaches and
announced by the conference Thursday morning.
The 2003 NJAC Rookie of the Year becomes only the second Cougar to
earn the conference's top honor. Kean Hall of Famer Noelle Meeke
was a two-time NJAC Player of the Year, earning the distinction in
both 1995 and 1996.
A four-year starter, Anzivino leads the team in both goals (19) and
points (43), while ranking second in assists (5).
Anzivino was named the NJAC Player of the Week twice this season.
