Anzivino Earns D3kicks.com Postseason Honors

UNION, N.J. (11/28/06) - Senior forward Heather Anzivino (Belford, N.J.) was named a D3kicks.com Mid-Atlantic Region first-team all-star and to the D3kicks.com All-American third-team after leading the Kean University women's soccer team to its first NCAA bid in a decade.

The 2006 New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year, Anzivino led the Cougars and the NJAC in both goals (19) and points (43).

A four-year starter, Anzivino concluded her career ranked second in program history in career points (130), second in career goals (54) and fifth in career assists (22). A four-time NJAC all-conference pick, Anzivino was also named the 2003 NJAC Rookie of the Year and a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid-Atlantic Region third-team all-star a year ago.

The Cougars concluded the season at 12-5-2 and were one of five NJAC teams to earn a bid to the NCAA tournament this fall.
