Anzivino Garners Postseason Accolades

 
UNION, N.J. (12/1/06) - Senior forward Heather Anzivino (Belford, N.J.) was tabbed a National Soccer Coaches Association of America/adidas Mid-Atlantic Region First-Team All-Star, as announced by the NSCAA on Friday afternoon.

A third-team NSCAA Mid-Atlantic Region pick a year ago, Anzivino led the Cougars to a 12-5-2 overall mark and a berth in the NCAA Division III Women's Soccer tournament for the first time in a decade.

The New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year led the Cougars and the NJAC in goals (19) and points (43), finishing 25th in the nation in goals per game (1.06) and tied for 27th in points per game (2.39). She has also earned D3kicks.com Third-Team All-American and First-Team Mid-Atlantic Region honors.

A four-year starter, Anzivino concluded her career ranked second in program history in career points (13), third in career goals (54) and fifth in career assists (22). The four-time all-conference pick was also named the NJAC Rookie of the Year in 2003.
