Nicole Groszew (Denville, N.J.) earns New Jersey
Athletic Conference (NJAC) Defensive Player of the Week honors as
the Cougars finished 1-0-1 after this weekends Cougar Classic.
Groszew earns the first NJAC Defensive Player of
the Week honor after helping the Cougars post a win and a tie in
their first two matches of the season. In a 2-0 season-opening
victory over St. Joseph's-Patchogue, she collected four saves in 76
minutes of scoreless action. One day later, she notched three saves
in 71 minutes of action in Kean's 3-3 draw with Muhlenberg. Groszew
currently ranks second in the NJAC in save percentage (.875).
