Five Cougars Tabbed With All-NJAC Honors
Pitman, N.J. (11/7/07) - Seniors Nicole Hauck
(Roselle Park, N.J.) and Michelle Fischer (Scotch
Plains, N.J.) as well as sophomore Jenna Godwin
(Kingwood, N.J.) were named all-stars to the New Jersey
Athletic Conference second team as announced by the conference
office on Wednesday.
In addition, junior Stacey Dzvileski (Hillsborough,
N.J.) as well as sophomore Nicole Groszew
(Denville, N.J.) were tabbed honorable mention.
Fischer closes out her career after playing 68 games for the
Cougars. In that time she recorded 20 goals and 10
assists. Fischer, an all-NJAC selection for the third time,
led Kean this season with 11 goals.
Hauck, who appears on the all-NJAC squad for a second time,
closed out her career after playing in 73 games, primarily as a
defender. Hauck tallied one assist back in 2005.
Godwin earns second team honors for the first time after tallying
five goals and two assists this season. In addition, Godwin
recorded two game-winning goals.
Dzvileski was selected as an honorable mention winner for the
first time. In 53 career games as a defender she has
registered one assist.
Groszew also earns all-NJAC honors for the first time.
Groszew recorded 78 saves this season in over 1,300 minutes in
net. This season she posted four shutouts in 17 games played.
