Seidel Earns NJAC Rookie of the
Year
PITMAN, N.J. (11/3/09) - Freshman forward
Carly Seidel (Winslow Township, N.J.) became just
the second player in program history to earn New Jersey Athletic
Conference Rookie of the Year honors, as voted on by the
conference's 10 head coaches and announced by the NJAC on Tuesday
morning.
Seidel, who also earned NJAC second-team honors, joins former
NJAC Player of the Year Heather Anzivino who
picked up the honor in 2003, as the only two players in school
history to earn top rookie honors.
This season, Seidel finished second on the team with six goals
and has a team-high six assists for 18 points. In eight NJAC
games, she scored one goal and had two assists for four points.
