Seidel Tabbed NJAC Offensive Player of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (11/12/12) – Senior Carly Seidel has been tabbed as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Seidel earns the final NJAC Offensive Player of the Week selection, her fourth of the season and her third consecutive weekly honor, after notching six points in a pair of victories which propelled the Cougars to the ECAC Metro Tournament Championship. She opened the week by netting a goal in Kean’s 2-1 ECAC semifinal win over Mt. St. Mary. One day later, she scored both of her team’s goals, including the game-winner in overtime during the Cougars’ 2-1 ECAC Championship Match win over top-seeded NJAC rival Richard Stockton.

The Most Outstanding Player of the ECAC Tournament and the NJAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year, Seidel finished her senior season ranked second in the NJAC in both points (46) and goals (20).
