Women’s Soccer Earns Five All-NJAC Selections

PITMAN, N.J. (10/31/17) - The Kean University women's soccer team had five players named to the NJAC All-Conference team.  Seniors Mallory Noordeloos and Kelly Williamson were named to the second team. Seniors Emily Jurcsek and Kendall Machak along with junior Sabrina Pascarella were all named to the honorable mention.

NJAC Release

Noordeloos earns her second All-NJAC selection, after being named to the honorable mention in 2016. She started 16 matches, totaling six points on four assists and one goal for the Cougars this season.

Williamson earns her third All-NJAC selection and makes her second appearance on the second team.  She started 12 matches and totaled one assist this season.

Jurcsek makes her second appearance on the All-NJAC second team after being named to the team back in 2015. Jurcsek finished the season ranking tied for third on the team in goals (4) and fourth on the team in points (10).

Machak earns her first All-NJAC selection, after leading the Cougars in points (16) and goals (6).

Pascarella also earns her first All-NJAC selection, after totaling 11 points on five goals and one assist.

In the major awards, the nationally ranked Lions of TCNJ picked up Offensive Player of the Year (Christine Levering), Midfielder of the Year (Jessica Goldman), Goalkeeper of the Year (Nicole DiPasquale) and Coach of the Year (Joe Russo). Emily Daigle from Rowan earned Defensive Player of the Year, while Dasey DiElmo from Stockton and Meghan Wachira from Rutgers-Camden shared the Rookie of the Year honors.
