Kean Tennis Falls to Stevens, 9-0

HILLSIDE, N.J. (9/12/07) - The Kean University women's tennis team fell to visiting Stevens Institute of Technology, 9-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.  Stevens improved to 6-0 thus far this season, while the Cougars dropped to 0-2.

Kean freshman Jessica Oquendo (North Bergen, N.J.) forced the lone three-set match of the afternoon, dropping a heartbreaker to sophomore Natalie Schloeder (Jackson, N.J.) by the scores of 4-6, 6-4, 10-12 at sixth singles.

The Cougars return to action on Saturday, September 15, when they travel to New York City College of Technology at for a noon match.
