Cougars Defeat Baruch, 6-3

Queens, N.Y. (10/16/07) - The Kean University women's tennis team used four singles wins plus two doubles victories to give the Cougars a 6-3 win over host Baruch College Tuesday afternoon.

Freshman Lisette LaForge (Roselle Park, N..J.) won at second singles (6-2, 6-2) while also combining with senior Danielle Fardin (Edison, N.J.) to win at first doubles (8-1).  Freshmen Katherine Arauz (Newark, N.J.) and LaShanna Armour (Union, N.J.) won at fifth and third singles respetively while also combining to win at third doubles (8-3).

The Cougars will close out the NJAC schedule on Monday, October 22nd when they travel to William Paterson University.
