Tennis Blanks Brooklyn, 8-0

 UNION, N.J. (9/14/11) – The Kean University women's tennis team blanks Brooklyn College, 8-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday afternoon.

Junior Lauren Petrucelli earned a pair of victories for the Cougars (2-1), posting a 6-0,6-0 win at first singles and an 8-0 win at first doubles with sophomore Jaelynn Lee (pictured left).

Lee also posted a 6-0, 6-2 win at fourth singles, while sophomore Debra Dress posted wins at second singles and second doubles with freshman Melanie Strollo. 

Freshmen Erin Hendricks and Erika Tapia paired to win third doubles, while Tapia also posted a win at sixth singles.
