Women's Tennis Falls to WPU, 6-3

Wayne, N.J. (10/5/11) – The Kean University women's tennis team fell to host William Paterson University by the final of 6-3 Wednesday evening in New Jersey Athletic Conference action.

The Cougars (4-2, 0-2 NJAC) were led by sophomore Jaelynn Lee and freshman Erika Tapia in singles competition.  Lee was victorious at fourth singles by the final of 6-3, 6-2 while Tapia won at sixth singles, 6-2, 6-1.

The combination of sophomore Debra Dress and rookie Melanie Strollo resulted in a win at second doubles by the final of 8-3.
