Volleyball a Perfect 4-0 This Season

Purchase, N.Y. (9/2/06) - Kean University women's volleyball program has jumped out to a perfect 4-0 record thus far in 2006. The Cougars have dominated their four opponents by not dropping a game in the young season.

The Cougars opened the season on Friday with a decisive 3-0 victory over Mt. St. Mary's of New York. Then on Saturday, Kean blanked Purchase College, Lehman College and Medgar Evers each by the score of 3-0.

The Cougars will look to continue their strong start when they host a tri-match on Saturday when the face Ursinus College and Rosemont College September 9 at noon.
