Volleyball Competes in Kean Invitational

UNION, N.J. (10/21/06) - Kean University defeated College of Mount Saint Vincent in five games to conclude the Kean University Volleyball Invitational with a 2-2 mark on Saturday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, the Cougars fell to Hunter College (26-30, 28-30, 17-30) and USMMA-Kings Point (19-30, 26-30, 23-30).

Hunter College won all four of their matches, dropping only one game the entire tournament, to capture the Kean Invitational, In addition to defeating host Kean on Saturday, Hunter also defeated Brooklyn (30-10, 30-10, 30-25) and Kings Point (25-30, 30-17, 30-14, 30-10). In the day's other match, Mount Saint Vincent defeated Brooklyn (30-19, 30-26, 30-28)
