Volleyball Tabbed Sixth in NJAC Poll

Pitman, N.J. (8/28/07) - The Kean University women's volleyball team has been tabbed to finish sixth in the 2007 NJAC Poll as selected by the conference's nine coaches.

The 2007 Kean University women's volleyball team will look to enhance their goals from last season as they return six veterans from last year's squad.

At the outside hitter position, Kean returns senior Alicja Ciastoch (Teaneck, N.J.) who last season tallied 231 kills to go along with a school-record 105 service aces.  Ciastoch also recorded a team high 393 digs.

Sophomore Colleen Masterson (Rahway, N.J.) will return in 2007 after registering a team high 499 assists in 2006.

Middle blocker Corinne O'Toole (Garfield, N.J.) will appear for her senior season after tallying a team-high 56 blocks as well as 116 kills last year.
