Aggies Rally Past Kean, 3-2

Doylestown, Pa. (9/7/07) - The Kean University women's volleyball team fell to Delaware Valley College, 3-2, Friday evening.  The Cougars (1-1) were leading 2-0, before the Aggies (4-0) rallied with three straight set wins.

Kean took a 2-0 lead with 30-28 and 30-27 victories. The Aggies rallied for 30-24 and 30-16 triumphs to force a fifth and deciding game. They then ended the comeback with a 15-5 score in the fifth.

Senior Alicja Ciastoch (Teaneck, N.J.) led the way for the Cougars with 19 digs and 13 kills while freshman Nicole Bolash (Clinton, N.J.) had 19 digs and eight kills with two service aces.

The Cougars will be right back in action on Saturday, September 8^th as they take on the College of Staten Island at noon in Harwood Arena.
