Volleyball Falls 3-2 to Immaculata

Bryn Athyn, Pa. (10/25/08) - The Kean University women's volleyball team dropped a 3-2 match (29-27, 21-25, 25-18, 25-20, 13-15) to Immaculata University at Bryn Athyn College Saturday afternoon.

Kean University was led by freshman Jamie Sacco (Park Ridge, N.J.) (pictured right) who had 12 kills to go along with 16 digs and two service aces. Sophomore Ivana Kapatenovic (East Brunswick, N.J.) led all players with 13 kills and three assisted blocks while teammate Mary Aldana (Jersey City, N.J.) had a team-high 33 digs. Freshman setter Yesenia Velasquez (North Arlington, N.J.) finished with 38 assists as well as 14 digs in the contest.

Kean will close out NJAC competition on Tuesday, October 28^th as they travel to Rowan University for a 7 p.m. match.
