Espinal Named NJAC Rookie of the Week

Pitman, N.J. (10/31/11) – Freshman Jennifer Espinal has been named as the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.

Espinal earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading her team to its 11th victory of the year with a 3-0 win over conference rival William Paterson. She produced a match-high 17 kills in the win while hitting .405 from her outside hitter position. Espinal currently ranks eighth in the NJAC in kills (2.38 per set).
