Cross Country Competes at NJAC Championships
POMONA, N.J. (10/28/06) - The Kean University
men's and women's cross country teams competed at the New Jersey
Athletic Conference championships at Richard Stockton College in
wet conditions on Saturday morning.
In the women's race, sophomore Stephanie Sinclair
(Ridgefield, N.J.) was the school's top finisher, as she
placed 26th in the 6000-meter race, crossing the finish line in
26:35.37. Junior Anna Khorosheva (27:36.45) and
sophomore Nicole Calello (27:44.69) placed 33rd
and 34th, respectively.
Junior Brian Sims (Matawan, N.J.) led the men's
team with a 42nd place finish (28:58.66), while freshman
Ashwin Anatharman finished in 30:09.27 to place
46th. Freshman Kyle Dabkowski (33:16.73) was 50th,
while freshman Kevin Scribner (33:41.67) and
junior Reginald James (34:42.77) were 58th and
59th, respectively.
