Cross Country Competes at NCAA Regional
Championships
GENESEO, N.Y. (11/11/06) - The Kean University
men's and women's cross country teams competed at the NCAA Division
III Atlantic Regional championships at SUNY-Geneseo on
Saturday.
In the women's race, sophomore Nicole Calello
(28:37.9) placed 184th.
In the men's race, the Kean squad placed 32nd with an overall score
of 914. Junior Brian Sims (Matawan, N.J.) led the
men's team with a 139th place finish (29:13.4), while freshman
Ashwin Anatharman finished in 29:31.0 to place
148th. Sophomore Ezra Schwartz placed 185th
(31:11.2) and teammate Kevin Scribner (34:43.8)
was placed at 220. Juniors Jason Guznay (35:06.9)
and Reginald James (35:15.6) were 222 and 223,
respectively.
