Cross Country Competes at Nevins Invitational 

EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. (10/20/07) - The Kean University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Nevins Invitational at East Stroudsburg University on Saturday morning.

Senior Anna Khorosheva (Ocean, N.J.)  led the way finishing 17^th in a time of 21:44, while freshman Sarah Kovolisky (Cranford, N.J.)  crossed the finish line in 23:03 to place 26^th.  Rookies Asha Winters (Ewing, N.J.) and Alejandrina Canelo (Newark, N.J.) finished 39^th (26:16) and 40^th (26:42), respectively.

In the men's race, senior Reggie James (Willingboro, N.J.) finished 46^th in a time of 20:26, while rookie Steve Novak (Roselle, N.J.) was 51^st in 20:58.

The Cougars compete at the New Jersey Athletic Conference championships next Saturday, October 27, at Richard Stockton College.
