UNION, N.J. (12/4/18) – The Kean University Department of Athletics honored its six fall athletic teams and over 200 student-athletes at the annual Fall Awards Banquet on Tuesday evening.

Men’s Soccer – Felipe Lucas
Patterson recorded 31 receptions for 441 yards and three touchdowns in nine games this season. He averaged 49.0 yards per game, including 3.4 yards per reception.
Reed was named to the All-NJAC first-team defense after totaling 50 tackles with nine sacks for a loss. He added 11.5 tackles for loss with three forced fumbles over 10 contests.
Birth earned an All-NJAC honorable mention selection after totaling nine points on three goals and three assists in 19 starts.
Harper was an All-NJAC honorable mention and an NJAC Player of the Week selection after totaling 315 kills, 291 digs, 44 aces, and 39 total blocks as the Cougars captured their second straight NJAC Championship.
Patrone was both an NFHCA All-Region and an All-NJAC first team selection after leading Kean in points (28), goals (12), shots (98), game-winning goals (6) and defensive saves (7).
Chan tallied five wins at singles and six wins at doubles. She posted a 5-12 singles record at #1 while collecting a 1-5 NJAC record. Chan was the only Cougar to compete at the top flight.
Lucas was an All-NJAC honorable mention, an ECAC Rookie of the Month and an NJAC Rookie of the Week twice as he led the Cougars in points (22), goals (10), shots (68) and game-winning goals (3).
