Title: Offensive Coordinator/Offensive Line

Flora enters his first season with the Kean University football program in 2018. Jerry brings 25 years of coaching experience to Coach Garrett’s staff with stops at FDU-Florham, Iona College and William Paterson University.

Flora served on the Pioneers football staff since 2002. His last 10 seasons were spent as the Head Coach, amassing 33 wins with four All-Americans, three All-ECAC selections, three d3football.com All-region selections and 68 All-NJAC selections. His 33 victories place him second all-time in victories at William Paterson.

Before WPU, Flora was an assistant at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y. on two separate occasions. During his time with the Gaels, he was the special teams coordinator, while Co-Administering the “Values and Morals Commitment” seminar and taught the basic principles of wide receivers play. Jerry assisted Iona to the MAAC Conference Championship under Harold Crocker in 1993.

Between his stints at Iona, Flora was an offensive line and tight end coach with FDU-Florham during the 1999 season.

Flora was a four year starter at Offensive Right Tackle and Tight End for Iona College from 1988-to-1992. He graduated with a Bachelors in Business Management (1993) and Masters of Science in School Administration /Supervision (2002). 

Jerry is current the Assistant Director of Recreation at William Paterson University.
