Field Hockey Drops Non-Conference Contest Against Arcadia

GLENSIDE, Pa. (9/5/18)- Megan Houser made three saves as the Kean University field hockey team dropped a non-conference contest to Arcadia University, 4-0 on Wednesday evening.

Carly Flickinger notched two goals and one assist for the Knights who improve to 2-1 overall. Rachel Mills and Jenna Patrone each tallied two shots apiece for the Cougars who fall to 0-3 overall.

After scoring a goal midway through the first half, the Knights added on three more in the second stanza with Flickinger collecting a goal and an assist in the process.

Kean was held to just seven shots, including two on goal. Arcadia totaled 17 shots, including 10 on frame. Erin Donnelly, Emily DeFalco, McKenna Ferraro also tallied a shot in the loss.

Head Coach Leslie LaFronz and the Cougars will return to action on Saturday, Sept. 8th, hosting the Red Dragons of SUNY Oneonta at 5:00 p.m.
