Men’s Hoops Tangles with Montclair

MONTCLAIR, N.J. (1/18/17) – The Kean University men's basketball team dropped its NJAC game with Montclair State University in a 71-45 decision on Wednesday.

Jarrett Bogus shot 71 percent and had 12 points and nine rebounds to lead the Red Hawks, who improved to 9-7 and 6-3 in the NJAC.

Tré Gomez (pictured left) went 2-for-2 from three-point land and had four rebounds for the Cougars. Michael Summerer led the team with both 11 points and six rebounds and shot 50 percent from the floor.

Micah Kerr and Keenan Williams Jr. were both second on the squad with eight points each. Kevin Grek had two steals on the defensive end for the Cougars, who are now 0-17 and 0-10 in the NJAC.

Kean will return home on Saturday to face The College of New Jersey in another NJAC matchup at 3 p.m.
