Men’s Basketball Drops Saturday Tilt at Stockton

GALLOWAY, N.J. (2/11/17)Keenan Williams Jr. shot 70 percent from the floor, but it was not enough as the Kean University men's basketball team fell to Stockton University 82-57 in NJAC action on Saturday.

Marcus Harmon led the Ospreys – who led wire-to-wire - with 18 points in the game. Stockton took a whopping 34 three-pointers and made 14 of them.

Williams' line for Kean included 16 points on 7-10 shooting and 2-3 from three-point range. He also had two steals and two assists.

Micah Kerr had a team-high 17 points, including a 7-8 performance from the free-throw line. Justin Watson led the team with both seven boards and four assists and chipped in with four points.

Inderpaul Pinghlia (pictured left) made his only shot from the field – a three-pointer - and finished with a career-best five points. Kevin Grek also had five points and Michael Summerer added seven.

Stockton improved to 14-9 and 9-8 in the league. The Cougars are now 1-23 on the year and 1-16 in the NJAC.

Kean will wrap up the regular season on Wednesday at William Paterson University.
