Men’s Basketball Wraps Up Coto Tournament

ARLINGTON, Va. (11/20/16) – Hamilton College topped the Kean University men's basketball team 86-55 on the final day of the Pablo Coto Tip-Off Tournament in Arlington, Virginia on Sunday.

Micah Kerr and Denzel Washington went a combined 7-for-9 from the floor to pace the Cougars offensively, while Kevin Grek put up a team-high 14 points and pulled down five rebounds off the bench.

Kerr finished with eight points and Washington had seven.

Michael Summerer kicked in six boards and a block in addition to nine points and Inderpaul Pinghlia (pictured left) knocked down a three-pointer that was his only shot of the game.

Justin Watson led the team with three steals ad added seven points.

Tim Doyle had 24 points from Hamilton to lead all scorers.

The Cougars will return home and open up NJAC play on Tuesday night at 8 p.m. against rival Montclair State University.
