TCNJ Tops Men’s Basketball

EWING, N.J. (12/3/16) – Three Cougars were in double digits, but the Kean University men's basketball team dropped a 77-43 decision to The College of New Jersey in NJAC action on Saturday. Michael Summerer, Kevin Grek and Micah Kerr all scored 10 points for Kean.

TCNJ was led by Corey Stanford, who scored 13 points. 16 Lions saw action for the hosts and all but one of them scored at least one bucket. The Lions led wire-to-wire.

Justin Watson led the Kean team with six rebounds, and five different Cougars had assists. Grek and Thompson were both 4-for-4 from the free-throw line.

Kean returns home on Wednesday to take on New Jersey City University for an 8 p.m. tip.
