Del Val Tops Men’s Hoops

DOYLESTOWN, Pa. (12/13/16) – The Kean University men's basketball team fell to Delaware Valley University 64-41 on Tuesday night. Both teams scored 30 points over the second half.

Keenan Williams Jr., Justin Watson and Micah Kerr all tied for the team lead in efficiency, which measures (points+rebounds+assists+blocks) – (FG missed+FT missed+turnovers). All three Cougars turned in an efficiency rating of plus-seven.

Kerr led the team with nine points, while Watson and Williams (pictured left) had three rebounds and two assists each.

Tyrea Williams led the Aggies with both 15 points and eight rebounds.

Michael Summerer led Kean with four rebounds and added a block. Kerr shot 50 percent from the floor and Kevin Grek had a team-best three steals.

The Cougars are now 0-8 on the season, and the Aggies improved to 3-5.

The men's basketball team will travel to Division I Drexel University in Philadelphia on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. for their final action before the holidays.
