The Cougars went bucket for bucket with the Lions before a 19-6 run closed out the contest with the nine-point victory. TCNJ would take their final lead of the contest at 65-64 on a Travis Jocelyn layup with 4:34 remaining. Latane would make back-to-back triples to push Kean's lead to 72-65 with just under two minutes to play. A P.J. Ringel free throw and a layup would cut the Cougars lead in half at 72-68. Kean iced the game from the free throw line, making 9-for-10 down the stretch including Jamison connecting on seven free throws in a row.
