Men’s Lacrosse Earns Seven All-CSAC Selections

ROSEMONT, Pa. (4/26/19) – The Kean University men's lacrosse team earned seven Colonial States Athletic Conference All-conference selections as announced by the conference office on Friday morning. Mike Snellen and Matt Palmieri were named to the first team, while Jake Frankovits, Matt Tanis and Greg Castor all earned second team selections. Tyler Roberto and Tyler Foss earned honorable mention selections, while Jack Bushey was named to the Sportsmanship team.

Snellen earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 67 points on 42 goals and 25 assists in 16 games. The senior added 61 groundballs and four caused turnovers, as he was named CSAC Player of the Week and a weekly honor roll selection twice.

Palmieri earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 72 groundballs and 28 caused turnovers in 15 games. The junior also added five points on three goals and two assists with one weekly honor roll selection.

Frankovits earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 39 points on 26 goals and 13 assists in 16 games. The junior also added 29 groundballs and five caused turnovers.

Tanis earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 47 groundballs and 15 caused turnovers in 16 games. The sophomore added one point on one assist with one weekly honor roll selection.

Castor earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 25 groundballs and 24 caused turnovers in 16 games. The junior added one point on one goal with one weekly honor roll selection.

Roberto earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 39 points on 23 goals and 16 assists in 15 games. The senior added 20 groundballs and five caused turnovers with one weekly honor selection.

Foss earns his first all-conference selection after totaling 36 groundballs and 12 caused turnovers in 16 games. The senior added six points on four assists and two goals.

Bushey totaled 22 points on 14 goals and eight assists, while adding 28 groundballs and four caused turnovers in nine games.
