Men’s Lacrosse Participates in Pancreatic Cancer Walk

PARAMUS, N.J. (9/26/18)- Head Coach Shelley Sheiner and the Kean University Men's Lacrosse team participated in the Lustgarten Foundation Pancreatic Cancer walk for the third consecutive year at Bergen Community College on Sunday, Sept. 23.

The team walked as "Team JoJo" and raised $9,900 for Pancreatic Cancer research. In the last two years, Team Jojo has raised $24,900.

Team JoJo helped support men's lacrosse alumnus Darren Calendrillo, whose mother Joanne (JoJo) had been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer in 2014.  Darren played attack for Coach Hawley Waterman from 1990 to 1993.

The Calendrillo family is a huge supporter of the Kean Men's Lacrosse program and never misses a game.
