Men’s Soccer Shutout by Rowan, 4-0

GLASSBORO, N.J. (9/29/18)- Malcom Moreira made four saves in the final 61:44 as the Kean University men's soccer team was shutout by Rowan University, 4-0 on Saturday evening.

Aaron Robertson scored and assisted on a goal for the Profs who improve to 7-4 overall and 2-2 in the New Jersey Athletic Conference. Felipe Lucas tallied two shots for the Cougars who fall to 5-4-2 overall and 1-3 in the NJAC.

The Profs dominated on shots (27-9) as Rowan scored three goals in the second half, after notching an early goal in the 8th minute.

Moreira was subbed into the game after starting goalie Derek Phells was issued a red card and rejected. For the contest, Kean was issued three additional cards.

Nicholas Sica, Dylan Evande, Damjan Agaj, Alex Nicol, Ramesses Moore-McGuinness, Matthew Almeida and Jake Santos all took one shot apiece.  

Head Coach Peter-John Falloon and the Cougars will return to action on Wednesday, Oct. 3rd, hosting the Spartans of York College at 7:30 p.m.
