Men’s Soccer Falls to York (Pa.), 1-0

UNION, N.J. (10/3/18) - The Kean University men's soccer team dropped a non-conference contest to York (Pa.), 1-0 on Wednesday evening.

Barak Amige scored the game-winner for the Spartans who improve to 7-3-1 overall. Alex Nicol tallied four shots for the Cougars who fall to 5-5-2 overall.

Despite the loss, Kean edged York on shots (17-16) and corners (7-6). The Cougars were called for 14 fouls and had four cards issued.

Felipe Lucas, Ramesses Moore-McGuinness, Matthew Almeida and Erick Reyes all took two shots apiece, while Dylan Evande, Diogo Barros and Jung Eui Hong all totaled one shot apiece.

Matt Miller collected five saves in his first career start.

Head Coach Peter-John Falloon and the Cougars will return to action on Saturday, Oct. 6th, hosting the Lions of the College of New Jersey at 4:00 p.m.
