NEW YORK, N.Y. (2/12/15) – The No. 2 Kean University men's volleyball team swept No. 9 Baruch College on Thursday – capped by an emphatic 25-13 set three victory – to stay undefeated (10-0) on the year.

Senior Ed Jedziniak (pictured left) set the standard for Kean, hitting .632 in the matchup with the Bearcats. He finished with a dozen kills and added four blocks and a dig. Bez Arslani got 13 kills for the team lead in that column.

Both teams had a similar number of kills –Baruch actually earned one more 34 to 33, but was forced into 23 attack errors while the Cougars made just seven in the three sets.

Kean setter Ron Dunn had 31 assists on 62 sets, and senior Kyle Farley had seven blocks to lead the Kean defense. Dunn and Jacob Kauffman also contributed to the defensive side with five digs apiece.

The second set was the closest: a 26-24 Kean victory. The Cougars led for the whole set but were caught at 24-24 by Baruch. At deuce, Arslani earned a kill from Dunn and then Kean forced a Bearcat error on set point number two to snach up the win and take the next step in the sweep.
