PITMAN, N.J. (1/28/19) – Ian Capp and Jonathan Meyer have been named the New Jersey Athletic Conference men's volleyball Players of the Week. Capp has been tabbed the Player of the Week, while Meyer has earned Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Capp totaled 99 assists, 24 digs, 19 kills, six aces and six blocks over four matches this weekend. The Mechanicsburg, Pa. native averaged 1.36 kills per set, 7.07 assists per set, 0.43 aces per set, 1.71 digs per set, 0.43 blocks per set, and 2.07 points per set, while posting a .342 hitting percentage. He totaled six kills, 35 assists, 13 digs and a block against #14 Endicott College on Jan. 26th.
Meyer totaled 21 digs and averaged 1.75 digs per set over four matches at Harwood Arena this weekend. He collected 11 digs against #14 Endicott College on Jan. 26th.
As a reminder, Harwood Arena and Kean University will host the 2019 NCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship on Apr. 26-27.
