UNION, N.J. (2/18/19) – Kamil Garbowski has been named both the New Jersey Athletic Conference and the Continental Volleyball Conference men's volleyball Player of the Week.
Garbowski totaled 30.5 points, 26 kills four blocks and two aces as the Cougars went 2-1 this past week. The Clifton, N.J. native averaged 3.05 points per set, 2.60 kills per set and a .583 hitting percentage. Garbowski finished with 10 kills and a .692 hitting percentage against NJIT on Feb. 11th. He followed that up with 12 kills and a .500 hitting percentage in the 3-2 victory over #8 SUNY New Paltz on Feb. 16th.
Garbowski follows teammate Dylan Flor, who was also named both the NJAC and the CVC Player of the Week last week.
As a reminder, Harwood Arena and Kean University will host the 2019 NCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship on Apr. 26-27.
