Capp Named Both NJAC and CVC Player of the Week; Milnazik tabbed NJAC Defensive Player of the Week

UNION, N.J. (3/4/19) – Ian Capp has been named both the New Jersey Athletic Conference and the Continental Volleyball Conference men's volleyball Player of the Week, while Jake Milnazik has been tabbed the NJAC Defensive Player of the Week.

Capp totaled 40.5 points, 20 kills, 53 assists, 18 aces, 15 digs, and four blocks as the Cougars went 4-0 this past week. The Mechanicsburg, Pa. native averaged 4.50 points per set, 2.22 kills per set, 5.89 assists per set, 2.00 aces per set, 1.67 digs per set, 0.44 blocks per set and a .429 hitting percentage.  During the week, he also became the program's all-time aces leader in the sweep of Marymount University on Mar. 1st.

Capp follows teammates Dylan Flor and Kamil Garbowski who also were named both NJAC and CVC Player of the Week.

Milnazik totaled 25.5 points, 18 kills, eight blocks, five digs and two aces as the Cougars went 4-0 this past week. The Warminster, Pa. averaged 3.64 points per set, 2.57 kills per set, 1.14 blocks per set, 0.71 digs per set, 0.29 aces per set and a .268 hitting percentage.

As a reminder, Harwood Arena and Kean University will host the 2019 NCAA Men's Volleyball National Championship on Apr. 26-27.
