Women's Lacrosse Cruises in Senior Day Win

Union, N.J. (4/20/19) – The Kean University women's lacrosse team cruised to a senior day win by defeating Rutgers-Camden by the final of 17-4 in NJAC action.

Morgan Graham led all players with six points as she tallied two goals and four assists.  Danni LeSaint recorded her 100th career goal while also adding six draw controls as Kean improved to 6-9 this spring and 3-2 in conference play.

Cara Racobaldo led the Scarlet Raptors (4-9, 0-4 NJAC) with two goals and one assist while adding two groundballs and four draw controls.

The Cougars paced the scoring in the first half, pushing out to a 9-0 lead by intermission.  Dana Meehan collected back-to-back goals in the span as seven different players found the back of the net.

Racobaldo broke up the shutout with 24 minutes to go in the second half on a feed from Claire Gailliout.

In total, nine different Cougars scored on the day as 19 saw action on the field.

Josie Pagano played the first half and didn't allow a goal while saving four shots.

Kean concludes their home slate on Tuesday when they face Union College in a rescheduled non-conference matchup.
