Pitman, N.J. (10/1/18) – Freshman Mary Bystrycki was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office.
Bystrycki earns her first NJAC Rookie of the Week honor and third weekly honor overall as she was twice named the Defensive Player of the Week. She pitched her third solo shutout as the Cougars played Rowan to a scoreless draw. She registered a career-high 14 saves to keep the potent Prof offense off the board.
Bystrycki currently leads all NJAC keepers with a .905 save percentage and is fifth with a 0.73 goals against average, yielding just six goals in over 742 minutes of action in her rookie season.
