Women’s Tennis Slotted Fifth in NJAC Preseason Poll

PITMAN, N.J. (8/17/18) - The Kean University women's tennis team has been slotted fifth in the New Jersey Athletic Conference Preseason Coaches' Poll.

TCNJ took the top spot with seven first place votes, while Rowan, Montclair State and Rutgers-Camden landed in the second, third and fourth spots. The rest of the poll is as follows: William Paterson and Rutgers-Newark.

Last season, the Cougars finished with a 9-5 overall record and a 2-3 mark in the NJAC. 

Head Coach Jodi Valenti and the Cougars will open the 2018 season hosting the Dolphins of the College of Staten Island on Friday Sept. 7th at 5:00 p.m.
