Women's Tennis Falls to TCNJ in Season Opener

Ewing, N.J. (9/14/18) – The Kean University women's tennis team dropped their season opener to host The College of New Jersey in straight sets on Friday evening.

The Lions won their 180th straight NJAC match, a streak that spans the entire history of NJAC tennis.

TCNJ (5-0, 4-0 NJAC) played a non-traditional doubleheader on the day, defeating Rutgers-Newark earlier in the day in Newark, N.J. before topping Kean in the nightcap.

The Cougars (0-1, 0-1 NJAC) were able to earn a point in first doubles (Anna Chan/Jada Mack), third singles (Nicole Nin) and fifth singles (Mack).

Kean will host Marywood University in a recently added matchup on Saturday at noon.
