Pitman, N.J. (10/23/17) – Junior Vikki Stec was named the New Jersey Athletic Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference office.
Stec becomes the third Kean player this season to earn NJAC Player of the Week after keying the Cougars to a 5-0 week, including wrapping up the top spot in the upcoming conference tournament. She averaged 3.12 kills, 2.35 digs, and 3.50 points per set in a strong all-around week. She also hit .398 on the week, and hit over .400 in four of the five contests last week. She added 11 blocks, two assists and a service ace. Her best performance of the week came in a win over Catholic, as she recorded a double-double of 20 kills and 10 digs while swinging a week-best .474.
Stec currently ranks third in both conference-only kills (3.38/set) and conference-only points (4.13/set), and is sixth in blocks (0.81/set).
